Hoyle Wedding Trailer

Hoyle Wedding TRAILER still frame
I recently shot a friend/family wedding, which I haven’t done since I started this business back in 2003. It was for Jamie and Stephanie Hoyle, my fiance’s cousin. It was great! Sometimes, it’s difficult to be a guest at a wedding you’re resonsible for shooting. Thankfully, Jamie and Stephanie hired a 2nd camera-operator (my good friend and coleague, Eric Martin) to fly to Couer d’Alene, Idaho and help out. All in all, it was an incredible event in a beautiful setting. A big thank you to the Hoyle and Boos families, for their support and generosity!

It will be a few months until I can schedule their editing time. So, in the meantime, I created a trailer to get everyone excited about the final film. Feel free to check it out here.

Zach and Ashley

Ashley and Zach Ceremony Wide Shot
A big thanks to Zach and Ashley Finley, the newest recipients of a Frequent Flyer Productions wedding film! Their DVD’s were delivered last night, and I hope to hear their review shortly. The wedding was awesome, if a little wet. The rain came down all afternoon, forcing the ceremony inside. But the location was beautiful and accomidated the change smoothly. (Calimigos Ranch, Agoura Hills, CA) Zach and Ashley chose all their own music for their video, including some great tracks by The Smashing Pumpkins, Spoon, and The Beach Boys. I’ve also added Zach and Ashley’s film to the “Samples” section of the re-designed website. Have a look at it here.

Welcome back...

FFP Bird Logo WHITE
Well, it’s been a while since I took the old site down. Our good friend Corey, over at Dog N’ Moon, created a great new logo for us. We played with a few different designs for the new site, and I finally settled on the layout that you’re looking at now. Best of all, I can manage this site myself! I’m not a web designer. It’s more of a required evil to me, really. Too much code, too much hassle. I’d rather be creating video content. Fortunately, I came back to RapidWeaver, and found a theme/template that worked for our “look”.

So poke around the site, and let us know what you think. There are sure to be a few minor tweaks here and there. But for the most part, we’re back online, and ready to go!
